This one is for Scottish whiskey. The silhouette I carved is of the Firth of Forth Bridge, often considered as a symbol of Scotland. I thought it would be apt for Scottish scotch.The Firth of Forth means the estuary (Firth) of several Scottish rivers including the River Forth.

The inspiration for this Whisky Tumbler design is the woodblock print created by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai, created around 1830. It is Hokusai’s most famous work and has been interpreted in many different ways by such artists as Vincent Van Gogh and Camille Claudel. The woodcut image also inspired Claude Debussy’s orchestral work ‘Lar Mer’
and appeared on the cover of the scores first edition in 1905.
This very elegant Whisky Tumbler is obviously designed for those who like fine Japanese Whisky. (Any whisky really)
